For the Sake of the Light
Watercolor on 100% Cotton Watercolor Paper
Inspired by the Icarus myth, this painting captures the moment he lifted his wings toward the glow simply because it called to him. It centers the reach, the warmth, and the quiet courage of trying for something bright even when the ending is uncertain.

Loving your art is only part of it. Quality materials, personal attention, and careful shipping matter, too. Here’s what you can expect when you buy from my studio.
Handcrafted artwork using archival materials so that your paintings last a lifetime (or longer).
No AI used in these paintings. Every brushstroke is mine and all materials and surfaces are museum quality and archival. But what does that mean? “Archival materials” means I use paints and surfaces chosen to resist fading and hold up over time. I want your painting to look just as meaningful on your wall years from now as it does the day you bring it home.
Limited edition prints your walls will love to collect.
I regularly release limited edition print collections. Each print is signed and made with archival materials chosen to preserve its color and detail. Once an edition sells out, that print won’t be produced in that size again.
Prefer a piece you can come back to later? I also offer open edition prints, made with the same care and quality.

Secure global shipping. Carefully packed for the journey to you.
I pack your finished artwork with care and ship it with tracking and insurance. A signature is required at delivery, so you’ll know when it arrives and can plan to be there to receive it.

Selecting the right painting for you
How do I choose the right size painting?
Start by measuring your wall space rather than guessing. As a general guide, artwork should take up around two-thirds to three-quarters of the width of the furniture beneath it. Larger landscape paintings create a strong focal point in living rooms and dining areas, while smaller paintings work well in bedrooms, hallways, or as part of a gallery wall. If you are unsure, use painter’s tape to outline dimensions directly on your wall before purchasing.
Am I buying an original painting or a print?
My shop has both original paintings and selected fine art prints.
Original paintings are one-of-a-kind works created by hand using professional materials.
Prints are high-quality reproductions of original artwork, produced to capture the color, detail, and character of the original piece in a more accessible format.
Each product page clearly states whether the artwork is an original painting or a print, along with full details about materials, sizing, and finish.
Will my painting come framed?
Details about framing are included on each product page. Some paintings are sold ready to hang, while others may require framing depending on the finish and style.
How will my painting be packaged for shipping?
Paintings are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Protective materials are used to prevent movement or surface damage during transit. Shipping details and timeframes are outlined on each product listing.
How do I care for my painting if I buy an original?
Original paintings should be displayed away from direct sunlight and extreme humidity. Occasional gentle dusting with a soft, dry cloth will help maintain the surface. Never use harsh cleaners on your art as it may damage it.
